With most parties and coalitions using this week to make their final pitches for various elective posts in the March 4th
elections, the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has today
revealed that it plans to hold its final major rally at Nairobi’s Nyayo
Stadium on Saturday.

This
makes for a change of plans for the coalition fronted by PM Raila
Odinga, VP Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula since it had
earlier planned to hold two separate rallies at Dandora and Kamukunji
on Saturday.
CORD
chief campaigner Eliud Owallo said the decision to hold only one major
rally was reached after the management of the Nyayo Stadium agreed to
put their venue to their service;
“Cord
will hold its final Presidential campaign rally on March 2 at Nyayo
national stadium as opposed to two separate rallies at Dandora and
Kamukunji,” he said.
Saturday is the last day of campaigns.
